The Society for the
Protection of Minster Lovell was formed in the mid 1990’s to give
residents a united voice regarding applications for developments in
The Society is not
against all developments, we appreciate that some will happen.
However, large developments which will urbanise the area and
encroach into and around the village need to be addressed to protect

The Parochial Church
Council of St Kenelm, Minster Lovell is the body responsible for the
organisation and conduct of the ecclesiastical parish of Minster

for St Kenelm's Primary School, to aid the children's educational
needs and also any new government directives they may need financial
Playing Field Trust

Minster Lovell Playing
Field Trust is responsible for the play area, tennis court and car
park to the rear of St Kenelm's Hall. The purpose of the Trust
is to provide a recreational amenity for children and young people
of the Village, which includes a small play area for younger
children and the facility to play tennis and basketball. Car
parking facilities for St.Kenelm's Hall are also provided.
Four Trustees administer the Trust which is registered with the
Charity Commission - two appointed by the Parish Council and two
appointed by the Parochial Church Council.

We meet September to
April in St Kenelm's Hall on the fourth Monday of the month (not
December) at 7.30pm. There is a summer outing to a historical
venue. Talks given on a wide range of historical
subjects. Visitors welcome, do join us! (Non-members fee

manage the sale of the Village Guide books. All profits go to
village voluntary organisations to help fund specific projects.
